Custom Real Glass Neon Sign

Custom real glass neon signs, bent by hand to your wording. This is traditional neon: glass tubing shaped over a flame against a full size pattern, then filled with gas that glows through the whole volume of the tube. It is not LED imitating neon, and no two pieces come out exactly alike.

What You Choose

Widths from 20 to 60 inches, sixteen glow colours, and a clear backboard, a metal frame or no backboard at all. Wall mounted, hung, or on a free-standing base. Dimmable or non-dimmable. Indoor, or an outdoor build specified at order time.

Specification

Tubing is 6, 8 or 10 mm as standard, with 12 mm available as a custom option. The smallest letter we can build is 5 cm, about 2 inches. A transformer takes 110V in and delivers 6,000 to 10,000V to the tube, which is why glass needs more care than a 12V sign.

How Long It Lasts

The tube itself is rated from 100,000 hours and is rarely what fails. In practice a glass sign runs 6 to 10 years before it needs attention, and when it does the fault is almost always the transformer or an electrode rather than the glass. Both are repairable, and our warranty covers free repair rather than replacement.
